The Roads and Rivers mat is full of terrain that you can cut out to create your own custom landscapes. These are the same terrain elements featured on our mats, so they will mix and match perfectly with your existing CBB mat collection. These  terrain features are printed on a Cigar Box Battle Mixed Ground mat (#240) and will of course match that mat perfectly! Once we have cut out all the terrain we use the mat scraps as fields, woodland areas, mud, etc. Let you imagination and creativity run wild! You can trim the roads exactly cut to size, or leave a little overhang to cover with fences, hedges, walls, trees, etc. The roads can be cut to length to make intersections and overlap nicely.

We use these terrain pieces to add flexibility and depth to our current mats, by adding trails, rivers, streams, etc. This is a great way to recreate specific scenarios or just to give your core mats more playability. We recommend using a quality pair of quality fabric scissors to cut out these designs. There is a ton of terrain on this mat to really spice up your game!

The roads are approx 2″ – 3″ wide (perfect for 28mm roads). The trails are 1″ wide (perfect for 10mm-15mm roads or 28mm trails) and the streams run .5″ to 1.5″ wide. The river sections are 4″ wide. The roads will lay down perfectly over you rolling hills and terrain!
